Tired of wobbly, inconsistent rolls or even dealing with a rewinder that compromises the print quality of your labels? Labelmate ZCAT Zero Tension Rewinder is a quick and worry-free series of roll rewinders for back-fed label printers. ZCAT Rewinders prevent tension from reaching the immediate printer output by maintaining a slack of printed labels through a free-hanging “loop” of label stock going through the winder’s tensioning roller, and only rewinding labels when a dedicated sensor in the device detects that there is enough slack to rewind.

ZCAT Rewinders are a great way to make your production of printed label rolls more automated, and an ideal way to prevent pulling tension on an operating printer, which can compromise the consistency of print quality and the overall integrity of your print jobs.

ZCAT Rewinders are available in widths of 6.5”, 8.5”, and 10.5”, and can be purchased to sit either on the left side or right side of your label printer. Other features include the ability to adjust the tension between the tensioning roller and the rewinder to ensure a tight roll, a torque adjustment knob, a label counter, and a winder direction toggle switch.
