The Colordyne 1800C Color Label Printer with Roll to Roll attachment is a continuous printer for on-demand short-run label and tag production. The press features a flat, unobstructed printing path and a redesigned printhead maintenance station. These press enhancements eliminate the need to break the web to clean the printhead during runs, increasing run lengths and improving print quality. The Roll to Roll Unwinder/Rewinder System pairs perfectly with the 1800C and allows for continuous, roll-to-roll label production. Easily handle rolls up to 10″ in diameter outside diameter for high-volume jobs and reduced media costs. The Roll to Roll Unwinder/Rewinder System uses uprated motors to ensure that heavier rolls can be handled with ease. The System’s user-controlled clutch allows for roll tension to be adjusted easily, allowing narrow labels to be rewound precisely without excessive tension that normally causes print errors. The maximum roll diameter of 300mm (11.8 in) allows for a longer uninterrupted workflow, delivering labels directly onto a roll ready for application. The touch screen improves the user experience by providing quicker access to frequently used printer functions.

Monitor printer status and ink levels, service and maintain the printhead, and more with a few simple clicks. Plus, set application formats on screen, including roll-to-roll, roll-to-cut and fanfold; making for quick set-up and change-over between jobs. The 1800C prints in full color (CMYKK) using a single Memjet water-based dye printhead and ink set.
