The Afinia L901 Industrial Color Label Printer enables companies to run a full-color digital label printer in line with a finishing or application system without complications related to mid-job printhead maintenance. This industrial color printer can produce full-color prints with stunning image quality at speeds of up to 12 inches per second. Photo-quality images and exceptionally crisp text and barcodes are printed at up to 1600×1600 dpi via Memjet’s Sirius print engine. The Afinia L901 has five high-capacity 250mL ink cartridges (CYMKK) with an extremely low ink cost per label. The Afinia L901 Industrial Color Label Printer is ideal for applications such as food and snack labeling, pharmaceuticals, and flexible packaging. The Afinia L901 Plus - Watershield™ Water-Resistant Inks

Produce vibrant full-color prints in high resolution using the Afinia L901 Plus Industrial Color Label Printer’s new optimized ink formula.  This revolutionary new ink delivers improved UV and water resistance, deeper blacks, and a longer printhead life. Large print volumes are now more economical, with five high-capacity 250ml CMYKK ink cartridges delivering an ultra-low cost per label. This new technology uses more responsibly sourced inks that do not contain chemicals that are considered to be harmful to humans or the environment, and help to prolong the life of the printhead. Watershield-printed labels are significantly more resistant to the effects of prolonged moisture exposure than conventional dye-based inkjet labels. Roll-to-Roll Label Printing

The Afinia XL – Unwinder/Rewinder System pairs perfectly with the L901/L901 Plus to allow for continuous, roll-to-roll label production. Easily handle rolls up to 10″ in diameter outside diameter for high-volume jobs and reduced media costs. The XL System uses uprated motors to ensure that heavier rolls can be handled with ease. The XL System's user-controlled clutch allows for roll tension to be adjusted easily, allowing narrow labels to be rewound precisely without excessive tension that normally causes print errors. The maximum roll diameter of 300mm (11.8 in) allows for a longer uninterrupted workflow, delivering labels directly onto a roll ready for application. The Afinia XL – Unwinder/Rewinder System can be used independently or as a complete roll-to-roll system.
