Stunning Digital Inkjet Printing

The Afinia FP-230 Flex Pack Press package consists of the Afinia L901 Plus Industrial Color Label Printer, an unwinder, and a rewinder, with in-line lamination and slitting. It can print custom flexible packaging pouch material in-line, on a roll, ready to use in a fill-and-form pouch-making machine. The L901 Plus is the print engine powering the FP230. It utilizes all Afinia L901 Plus supplies, such as inks and printhead. Ideal applications are cereals, chocolate, confectionery, nuts, coffee, tea, herbs and spices, dry pet foods, detergents, and cannabis.

The Afinia Flexible Packaging Press prints small, medium, and large rolls of laminated printed film on demand with the touch of a button. Your printed flex pack rolls are immediately ready for pouch-making in HFFS or VFFS machines.

The Afina FP-230 is a durable and flexible machine that can handle a variety of flexible packaging print jobs. The Afina FP-230 uses dye ink and accepts materials up to 8.5 inches (216mm) wide with a roll diameter of 10 inches (250mm). It is powered by Memjet technology. The printer itself is the Afina L901 Plus, which is one of Afinia's flagship high-speed digital label printers. An in-line unwinder, rewinder, slitter, and laminator round out the system.

Easy to operate, the FP-230 offers a 60-feet-per-minute print speed and 1600 dpi print resolution. It supports variable data with the optional Northstar RIP software. A large color touchscreen makes managing your print jobs convenient and intuitive.
