How To Achieve The Best Quality Printouts with the Epson C6000/C6500
Epson-engineered PrecisionCore® TFP® printhead technology delivers ultra-sharp text and precise barcodes. It also produces varying droplet sizes that, coupled with a 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution, can produce a huge gamut of vibrant, accurate colors, smooth gradations, and fine image details. To get the most out of your Epson C6000/C6500, here are some tips to get the most out of your Epson.
- To make sure you have the best quality results, it is best to empty each ink cartridge six months after installation.
- Do not remove the ink cartridges while the Epson C6000/C6500 is not in use, and leave the printer on as well.
- The Epson C6000/C6500 has an option to print using gloss black ink or matte black ink. Gloss Ink is the best option when printing on both gloss and matte media. Only use the matte black ink if printing on matte material exclusively.
- Whatever black ink you choose, the Epson C6000/C6500 will prompt you to select the black ink type on the initial set-up.

- Whichever black ink you choose upon initialization of the printer, you cannot change the type of black ink at a later date.
- If you notice a decrease in print quality, you can run a nozzle check so you can see if any nozzles require a cleaning.
